Short version: the editor runs in your browser, your poses stay on your device, and this site has no accounts, analytics or advertising.
Last updated: October 2026.
What runs where
Posing, random pose generation, camera and lighting changes, and PNG export all run locally in your browser. Pose data is not sent to a Posegeni server while you edit.
What is stored on your device
- Your most recent scene (autosaved so it’s restored when you return).
- Poses you choose to save, your favorites, and recently opened poses.
- Small preferences such as the editor theme and whether you dismissed the viewport tips.
This data lives in your browser’s IndexedDB, or localStorage if IndexedDB is unavailable. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. Deleting saved poses inside the Studio removes them as well.
Share links
A share link contains the pose itself, compressed into the part of the URL after the #. Browsers don’t send that part to the server, so the pose isn’t stored by Posegeni. Anyone you give the link to can open the pose.
Cookies, analytics and accounts
This version of Posegeni Studio sets no cookies, includes no analytics or advertising scripts, and has no user accounts. Fonts and icons are served from this site, not from third-party services.
Hosting
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, time and requested page) to operate and secure the service. Those logs don’t include your poses.
Changes
If a future version adds features that change this, for example optional accounts or cloud sync, this page will be updated first.
